Job Description/Duties:
Skip the Sign company has 3 years history in British Columbia and Alberta, and now expanding its business to Whitehorse Yukon. Currently we have a few renovation contracts and is looking employees in Whitehorse, the capital of the Yukon.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the day to day operations of the office, and assists with managers
• Reviewing working flows, provide bookkeeping services including accounting and software issues, maintaining complete sets of books, keeping records of account and verifying the systems used for recording transactions.
• Manages the bookkeeping, payroll, and petty cash using standard tracking systems and financial software
• May need to work overtime on occasion and handle stressful timelines or situations
• Develop presentation materials, print layout and basic design is an asset

Requirements/Qualifications:
• A minimum of three to five years related experience, preferably within the construction industry, property management, project management, or transferable experience from related industries
• Diploma or degree in business, office administration, would be an asset
• Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, quick book, and other accounting soft wares, word processing, spreadsheets, indesign, photoshop
• Demonstrated ability to organize work, set priorities, meet deadlines, monitor progress towards goals, track information, and pay attention to details
• Commitment to open communication and collaboration in a team environment
• Must be self-motivated, able to take initiative and work independently with little to no supervision at times while maintaining clear and timely communication with the management and teams
• Must understand and demonstrate professional and confidential behaviour and business ethics
• Must be a Canadian citizen or eligible to obtain legal authorization to work in Canada
• Another language will be an asset
