Job Title: Camp Ground Attendant                      CLOSING DATE: April 28, / 2017
DEPARTMENT: Heritage, Lands and Natural Resource
STATUS: Full-Time Seasonal
SALARY: C/TFN Wage Scale Level 6-9 depending on education and experience

JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Carcross/Tagish First Nation (C/TFN) Field Operation Coordinator.
The campground attendant is responsible for maintaining the up keep of the campground, keep out house clean, cleaning camp sites, make sure wood bins are full, taking garbage to dump, storing recyclables, supervising staff may be required, reporting any damages directly to supervisor and bring in the cash boxes to the admin. These services will promote a positive camping experience for all visitors to both Carcross and Tagish Campground. These duties may include other task associated or not associated with this position

QUALIFICATIONS
· Grade twelve education and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Knowledge of C/TFN history, culture, demographics, goals and aspirations.
· Knowledge of the Southern Lakes region and Heritage related departmental goals

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
· This is a seasonal - Term position
· Sign and abide by the C/TFN Code of Ethics
· Must have Cross-cultural and Environmental Awareness and Sensitivity
· Must have or be willing to get a Chain Saw Certification
· Must have Standard First Aid Certification
· May occasionally work with tourist and public
· Must have a class 5 Yukon Drivers Licences
· May occasionally supervise other workers

An eligibility list will be established from this competition. No compensation will be given for moving costs and must be eligible to work in Canada.
