The Collective Good is a design store with a lot on the go!

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our store. This is a full-time gig that requires flexibility to work a varying retail schedule including weekends and holidays.

The right candidate will share our aesthetic, enthusiasm for design and commitment to excellence in customer service. We offer great growth potential for the right person - ideally, you'd work up to a full fledged Store Manager.

The Assistant Manager job is hands-on. It involves direct customer service and sales responsibilities in addition to operational and supervisory duties. Being adept at multi-tasking, problem-solving and exercising flexibility is a must. As is the ability to see the big picture without overlooking the fine details.


Essential qualifications:
• superior customer service and people skills
• 3-5 years experience in a specialty retail environment
• experience supervising and motivating a sales team - hiring, training, performance management
• experience creating and maintaining visual merchandising displays
• experience receiving and managing inventory
• experience working with sales goals, marketing and special events
