• The Bistro is a seasonal restaurant serving predominately homestyle and homemade food.
• Sauces, dressings, soups, etc. are all made in house. Fish is cut and breaded by hand, burgers made from scratch etc. etc.
• Some products involve in-house smoked meats and in-house produced breads etc.
• Although our food is not overly complex it is wholesome and void of all unnecessary additives found in commercially pre-made products.
• Our cooks must be able to run a grill area and put out orders quickly during peak periods and in the down times manage stock, maintain cleanliness, and prepare from scratch the soups and sauces, burger patties, breading fish etc. that keeps the kitchen prepared for the next wave of business.
• Our chef teams involves 5 positions. These are diverse positions that see you working in multiple stations and aspects of the kitchen. If you like diversity in your work experience than this might be the job for you. There are roles available from prep chefs through to head chefs.
• Season: May - September 2019 (feel free to apply if you are available for the majority of this time period, if not all of it)
• A head chef will be selected from within the cooks hired for the season based on resume strength.
• Please indicate in your application if you would be interested for consideration at the head chef or sous chef level.


• Suitable experience, ability to work in Canada legally (we are not interested in sponsoring people seeking to move to Canada)
