Job Expectations:
Communication and coordinating with the Husky Fun Club Coordinator and School Administration.
The Husky Fun Club Worker (HFCW) position is part-time position from 3:00pm-5:30pm Monday - Friday.

The successful candidate is responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate program for the children of Husky Fun Club After School Care Program at Hidden Valley School in accordance with all relevant legislation, agency policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities in the After School Setting:
• Responsible for assisting with programming on a day to day basis
• Implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in HFC Working as part of the HFC Team
• Be respectful of children and parents; Provide nutritious snacks
• Adhere to policies and procedures including acceptable disciplinary action(s) at Hidden Valley School
• Implement positive discipline when required; Ensure children are supervised at all times
• Build and encourage children's self esteem; Establish routines and provide positive guidance
• Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable
• Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children understand
• Maintain program administration procedures (ie: daily student sign in/out log)

• Stress Management skills; Be respectful; Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Be flexible; Demonstrate sound work ethic
• Be consistent and fair; Be compassionate and understanding

Work Requirements:
• Vulnerable Sector Record Check (mandatory)
• Valid First Aid and CPR would be an asset but not mandatory
