Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience

Experience: 5 years or more

Specific Skills
Operate video recording equipment; Operate specialized camera; Determine filming sequences, camera movements and picture composition; Adjust focus, exposure, lighting and other camera settings; Select and set up camera equipment; Label and record contents of exposed film; Complete report sheets; Test, maintain and store equipment

Level of Expertise: Operator; First assistant

Film or Video Production Experience: Advertisements; Television programming; Stills; Sports; Motion picture and film industry; Documentary and features

Work Setting: Video production company

Security and Safety: Driver's validity licence check; Eligible for professional liability insurance

Work Site Environment: Outdoors; In/on water; At heights

Work Samples: Example of completed work

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel; Valid driver's licence; Willing to travel internationally
