Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a 2nd Cook/General Helper to join our Camp Services team. The 2nd Cook/General Helper is responsible for preparing a wide variety of foods.

Responsibilities:

Ensure meals are prepared and severed to the highest standard
Support kitchen operations in a professional manner
Knowledgeable with the equipment that you are required to use in a safe manner
Kitchen, general equipment, and facility clean up (table, floors, etc.)
Inspect food and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Leave your workplace in a clean and tidy manner
Other duties as assigned by management from time to time

Requirements/Qualifications

Qualifications:

Completion of a college or other post-secondary program in cooking
The successful candidate must hold a valid food safety certificate
2-3 years’ experience as 2nd cook in the hotel/restaurant or camp industry
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Professional communication skills, oral, and written
Work well under pressure
