Seeking a Camp Attendant/General Helper to join our Camp Services team. The Camp Attendant/General Helper is responsible for the general housekeeping, linen cleaning, overall cleanliness, and maintaining hygienic conditions within the living units and assisting the kitchen in cleanliness and sanitization. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the highest sanitary standards are maintained in all areas of responsibility in accordance with company, client, and governmental requirements.
  • Ability to clean rooms to company standard and adhere to room inspection requirements 
  • Wash, sorts, counts, folds and distributes linens and towels, makes beds to company standard.
  • Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
  • Sweeps, scrubs, mop, and polishes floor.
  • Vacuum/cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Dusts furniture.
  • Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
  • Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empties wastebaskets and pick up debris and empties trash containers
  • Assists in laundry as needed
  • Kitchen, general equipment, and facility clean up (table, floors, etc.) 
  • Inspect food and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Actively involved in ensuring they are following safe and sound procedures and are adhering to government regulations as well as ATCO Frontec Health    and Safety, policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • The successful candidate will have 1 or more years of housekeeping experience in large hotel/resort style.
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid Foodsafe Certificate 
  • Complete allocated workload during designated shift
  • Excellent people skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised or unsupervised
  • Team Player
