Yukon First Nation Education Directorate is seeking an Early Years Trainer to join our growing team!
These new positions entail networking and relationship building, research, development and modification of materials and resources and delivering workshops to child care and early learning centers across the Yukon.
The Early Year Trainer will adapt early year programming and modify workshops to meet each unique First Nation and the organization’s needs and will be delivered in authentic, culturally sensitive ways. Candidates who are passionate about early year growth and development, who have excellent engagement and interpersonal skills, who understand Indigenous values and the importance of family centered early learning are encouraged to apply.
Other necessary qualifications include excellent time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, the ability to research, plan, and coordinate. You must be comfortable leading authentic educational workshops to a variety of individuals with different backgrounds. You will also have solid technical and computer competence to deliver via various platforms.
