Description/Duties

Early educators are responsible for groups of children throughout the preschool day. Educators will be expected to observe, report and produce inquiry based experiences for the children. The program is a land-based one so we spend large amount of time outside. Educators will need to supply their own outdoor equipment and clothing. Educators that are passionate about professional development in Early Learning and inquiry based practice would be best suited.

Light janitorial and organizational duties are expected as well.

Requirements/Qualifications

A diploma or degree in Early Education or a level 3 in Early Learning through the Yukon Government levelling system. Will consider a level 2 for someone working on completing their education.
Would also consider any wilderness/Forest school trainman to be an asset.
First Aid, RCMP clearance, TB test, immunization record and a doctor's note are all required.
