Description/Duties
Feed and Care Worker

JOB DETAILS: 
  • 5 hours/day, 2-3 days a week  
  • Possibility for more hours during the week on an on-call basis 
  • Wage: $18/hr. 
  • Start date: Immediately 

DUTIES INCLUDE: 
  • Care of animals in the shelter, including feeding, exercising and other needs
  • Maintaining general upkeep of the shelter and yard
  • General office duties.                      

APPLICANTS MUST: 
  • Have own method of transportation (animal shelter is located in Callison) 
  • Have experience handling cash 
  • Have experience working with animals 
  • Have experience working with the public 
  • Be easily reachable by the Shelter Coordinator should there be an on-call need or change in schedule 
  • Be able to follow instructions from the Shelter Coordinator 
  • Be able to work unsupervised and to take initiative, as well as follow Humane Society policies Valid First Aid Certificate is recommended but not required.
