Description/Duties
THE OPPORTUNITY
Working with the possibility of residing at Partridge Creek,125 km south of Dawson City on the Klondike Highway, this is an ideal opportunity for an individual who enjoys working outside on the land in all seasonal weather conditions in a farm setting. It is an amazing opportunity to collaboratively implement a farm project plan with a team based on the priorities and deliverables of the Nation in property operations, production and maintenance. 

THE PERSON
In collaboration with the Farm Supervisor the person is responsible for adhering with health and safety standards, regulations and policies in ensuring farm project deliverables in operations, production and maintenance aligns with traditional methods through teaching and harvesting. The person is a motivated, hard worker and has the ability to receive direction and complete tasks, that include, planting, cultivating, irrigating, fertilizing, pesticide control, harvesting the land and preserving food safely at the end of the season. 
Requirements/Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS 
The ideal candidate has a Grade 10 high school equivalency and/ or relevant experience in garden, farming and/ or agriculture, an asset. Certification in an Occupational Health and Safety program or Small Engine Mechanics or the willingness to obtain the appropriate education is an asset. Knowledgeable of methods of safe food preservation techniques and traditional First Nation harvesting principals, an asset.
