Description/Duties

Our North bnb and Rentals is looking for one full-time handyman/woman who could join us immediately. The details are given below.

Work Location: Field work /Various Location

Office Address: -8146 8th Avenue, Whitehorse , Y1A 1S3

Salary: $24.50 per hour

Positions: 2

Hours per week: 37.50 hours
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job duties and Responsibilities:

Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
Empty trash cans and other waste containers
Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Cut grass and tend grounds and plants
Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
Adjust and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
May move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
Ensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishment
May advertise vacancies, show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, and collect rent
May supervise other workers.
Must be available to work in night and on weekend on short notice.

Requirements/Qualifications

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Skill Requirements:

Secondary School
1- less than 2 years of related experience.
