Housekeeping represents the most integral part of the back of house. Our work will shape the first impression a guest has from our hotel. The way we prepare rooms make a guest feel welcome. We ensure the cleanliness of the rooms, hallways, common spaces, bathrooms and much more. We might work in the background but we are proud of what we do, take great care in performing our jobs and always have a smile and a " good morning" ready for our guest when we meet in the hallway.
 Job Tasks:
  •  Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and amenities
  •  Clean hotel rooms and apartments (condominiums) as directed.
  •  Follow cleaning and disinfecting procedures outlined by supervisor
  •  Prepare re-stalk housekeeping carts
  •  Attend to guests' request for extra supplies 
  •  Use chemicals when needed and as directed
  •  keep room amenities stocked and report storage stocks to supervisor 
  •  Note discrepancies and damage in rooms and notify maintenance
  •  Report and store lost and found items 
  •  Work cooperatively with front of house staff to respond to gust needs
  •  During slow periods, assist in other departments as assigned & approved 
  • WHMIS
