Description/Duties
  • Sweep, mop, wash and wash floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stocking and filling of all housekeeping and store items
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Clean public washrooms and showers
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Fast paced environment
  • Must work well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads - physically demanding
  • Require attention to detail
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending and crouching
  • Must be in good physical health
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Provide basic information on facilities
  • Support front desk as needed
  • Assist with minimal food prep
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Good communication skills (oral and written). English needs to be proficient
  • Food Safety Course an asset
  • Must be 19 years' old
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to handle cash
  • Hotel, Housekeeping, Serving, Cashier, Minimal Cooking & Restaurant experience an asset
