Salary: $16.77 hourly

Reporting to the Tr’inke Zho Manager, this position is responsible for assisting and working in partnership with team members and children. The position is responsible for assisting various staff as needed in carrying out the early learning program and daily schedule to meets the individual needs of the children in this area and ensuring YG regulations are followed at all times.

An Eligibility List may be established from this competition – the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time, permanent part-time, temporary full-time, temporary part-time, term, or auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Must be a TH citizen ages 12-14 with an interest in pursuing Early Childhood Education, Youth Leadership, Education or related discipline.

Assets:
  • Babysitting experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed.
  • Enjoys working with children.

Conditions of Employment:
  • As per YG regulations - TB test, immunization open record, Medical clearance to work with children.
  • Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Course or willingness to obtain.
