Description/Duties
  • Evaluate specifications in design drawings prior to adding or replacing tools
  • Recommend cost-effective changes in equipment design to improve  reliability and safety
  • Review instructions and blueprints in order to ensure that project plans
  • Make calculations for business estimates
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Preparing design, drawings and specifications
  • Design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures
  • Computer-aided design
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications
  • Test machines and equipment
