About the Company

We are a Whitehorse Yukon based prefab construction company. We build residential projects ranging from custom and spec homes to multi-family town house developments. We have contracts around Yukon in many different communities.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Home Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading residential construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all parties. Your primary focus will be on managing new home construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage residential construction projects from start to finish, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project plans and designs are accurate and meet client expectations.
  • Oversee and manage the bidding and awarding of contracts, ensuring the selection of qualified contractors and vendors.
  • Manage project teams, including assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring that all team members are working together effectively.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure that all construction work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a home construction project manager, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and processes.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
