POSITION: Truck Driver

WAGE: Competitive Wage

STATUS: One-year contract in Atlin British Columbia

SUPERVISOR: Operations and Maintenance Manager or Designate

LOCATION: Taku River Tlingit First Nation (TRTFN) in Atlin, BC

CLOSING DATE: Open until filled

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Operations and Maintenance supervisor, the truck driver will be required to operate a fleet of different vehicles, including water delivery trucks and other equipment as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drives the water truck as per a schedule established daily by the Operation and Maintenance Supervisor.
Other vehicle (e.g., flatbed, service, and sewer truck) driving duties as required.
Be willing to join Volunteer Fire Fighter Force
Other maintenance duties as required.

BENEFITS

We will provide subsidized housing staff in a shared house for the successful candidates.

We will pay the relocation expenses for the chosen candidate.

No benefits are included in this position.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Class 1 or 3 {air brake endorsement) from any Canadian province required. Must be willing to transfer to British Columbia Driving license with equivalent class and undertake courses/exam if required to do so by the provincial testing authority.

One year commitment required. Contract may be renewed based on funding availability. Clean RCMP abstract
